M 7/20/09.....DPC                               18-21-5, 6-LOB
                     Superior Soda Blasters      8-18-2, 14-LOB
    The Clubbers had homerun power from Pat Zajch (2-for-3, 2-R, 4-RBI including a 3rHR)
and Paul Mikula (3-for-4, 2-R, solo HR). Greg Polisano was 2-for-3 with 2-R & 2-RBI and
Ed Kaltz 3-for-3 with 3-R & 2-RBI. Winning pitcher Dave Geraci threw 4-IP to allow only 2-ER
while scattering 13-H with 0-W & 1-K.

                                   Salsarita's (Greasy Side)     3-11-1, 6-LOB
    In the opener of the doubleheader our lads routed the Greezy Guys. Erik Schneider led the
offense by going 4-for-4 with a double, triple, sac-fly and 5-RBI. Mike McBride was 2-for-3 with
2-R & 2-RBI. Paul Mikula's 3-for-4 included a pair of doubles, 2-R & 2-RBI. Mid-season free agent
acquisition Derek Gomez was 3-for-4 with a double, R & 2-RBI.

                                   Sciclone Flyers      5-11-5, 9-LOB
    The twinbill nightcap saw our boys snooze offensively until the mid-point before pulling out
the come from behind victory. Pitcher Gary Lesnau scattered 11-H & 1-W to allow 5-R/4-ER in
the complete game victory while also going 2-for-4 with 2-RBI at the plate. Doug Fry was 1-for-3
with a sac-fly, but had 2-R & 3-RBI.

M 8/3/09.....DPC                          18-21-3, 6-LOB
                   Buffalo Wild Wings      9-13-1, 6-LOB
    Defense held our heroes in the game until the bats came around. The DPC "D" turned four
double plays including one with an outfield assist. Bob Blair went 3-for-3 with 3-R & 2-RBI. Paul
Mikula was 3-for-3 with a pair of homers, 3-R & 5-RBI. Pat Zajch went 3-for-4 with a double,
homer, 2-R & 4-RBI.
    The Clubbers set up a season finale showdown next week vs the Hit Squad with both teams
tied for first place at 13-1, their only defeats against each other.
