@ DISNEY WORLD, FL:

    A 7-R/T-7th broke a 3-all tie
and lifted the Tigers to an 11-3
win over Atlanta Friday afternoon.

All seven runs in the uprising
were charged to third Braves
pitcher Matt Wisler (L, 0-2) who
failed to retire a batter (6-H & 1-W).

Prospect OFielder Daz Cameron started the T-7th scoring with a ground
rule RBI double to RCField.  Utilityman hopeful Alexi Amarista sent a 2-run
single to RField.  CA James McCann hit a 2-run double to the RCField gap.
TigerTowner Kam Gibson sliced a 2-run double the opposite way to LField.

Non-roster UTIL Niko Goodrum solo homered (#4) to RCField off sixth
Bravos hurler Evan Phillips in the T-9th for Detroit's 11th run.

Cut by Minnesota midway through the Grapefruit LGE schedule, ex-
Tiger Anibal Sanchez got the start for Atlanta in an effort to earn the
fifth Braves rotation job.  Sanchez went 5-IP to allow 3-R/3-ER on 7-H,
1-W & 1-HBP with 4-K.

Sanchez worked out of a 2-out/T-2nd bases-loaded situation in the
T-2nd, but couldn't get out of a similar T-5th jam.  McCann cleared the
bases with his double to tie the game 3-3, making the final out when
he tried to stretch his hit into a triple.

    McCann finished 2-for-4 with a pair of two-baggers, 1-R & 5-RBI.

    Braves 1Bman Freddie Freeman went 2-for-2 plus a walk with 2-R &
2-RBI including a double and a homer.

Tiger starter Daniel Norris was erratic.  Norris yielded 3-R/2-ER on
3-H & 4-W with a WP & 3-K in his 5-IP on 85-pitches/45-strikes.

A pair of Tiger miscues gave the Braves a 2-0/B-1st lead.  Ender
Inciarte singled to CField on the second pitch of the game from Norris.
He stole second and scored on Freeman's double when miscommunication
forced LFielder JaCoby Jones to dive in front of CFielder Leonys Martin
and miss the sinking flyball.  Freeman took third on a wild pitch and scored
on a 2-out error by 1Bman John Hicks.

Freeman led-off the B-3rd with a homerun (#2) off the RCField scoreboard
to make it 3-0.

Shane Greene (W, 1-0), Buck Farmer and Joe Jimenez (2-K) all followed
Norris with one perfect relief inning.  Non-rostered Louis Coleman worked a
labored, scoreless B-9th.

The Tigers became 11-14-4 in Grapefruit games.

      DET       11-17-2, 7-LOB       (W) Greene, 1-0
      ATL        3-4-0, 7-LOB          (L) Wisler, 0-2
