Brian Roberts hit a 3rHR (#6) to cap a 4-R/B-2nd, then Miguel
Tejada (#4) and Rafael Palmerio (#1) soloed to power the Orioles
over Detroit, 8-4 on Tuesday night at Camden Yards. The trio of
taters gave the O's a split of the two-game series and ended the
Tiger winning streak at three.
The Tigs will return home from their first road trip of the season
with a 3-&-5 record.
Roberts hit only four homers all last season but is on a tear in

this season, good for a .421-BA.
Nate Robertson was roughed-up again (L, 0-2) and gave up 6-R/6-ER
on 7-H & 1-W.
Sidney Ponson used a series of sliders to keep Tiger hitters at bay.
Ponson scattered 9-H & 2-W over 6-INN, giving up all four runs Detroit

Carlos Guillen & Rondell White each went 2-for-4 for the Tigers and
Dmitri Young's 1-for-4 effort extended hits hit streak to 11 games.
Detroit catcher Pudge Rodriguez sat out of the line-up with back
The Tigers open a 5-game homestand by hosting the Chicago
