    The Bulls dominated Detroit
and scored an easy 96-81
exhibition win over the Pistons
Wednesday night in Chicago.
     Derrick Rose scored 22-P in
his first game before the United
Center home fans in 18 months
after missing all last season due
to knee surgery.
    The Bulls led 24-16 after the
opening quarter and 55-34 at the half before cruising the rest of the way.
    Rose had 18-P by halftime and in his 22-mins he was 6-for-9 from the field
and 9-of-10 at the free throw line.
    Three Bulls reserves scored in double figures. Tony Snell had 12-P while
Taj Gibson and Marquis Teague both had 11-P.
    Carlos Boozer added 10-P plus a game-high 11-RB for Chicago.
    Pistons rookie Kentavious Caldwell-Pope had a team-high 18-P. Jonas
Jarebko added 14-P. The only Piston starter in double digits was Greg
Monroe with 10-P. Andre Drummond (5-P) pulled down a team-high 10-RB.
    Chicago is 4-0 and Detroit 2-2 in pre-season play.


PISTONS H-COACH MAURICE CHEEKS:   "[Rose] didn't look like he lost a step
to me. He was as quick as he's ever been."

BULLS GD DERRICK ROSE:   ""I think I'm past that, jitters and everything. For
me, it's just going out there and trying to compete and try to do better as a
teammate and as a leader...I was just trying to really be aggressive."
