@ KITCHENER, ONT:

Bolstered by the addition of L-Wing Jerry D'Amigo, the
Kitchener Rangers beat the Plymouth Whalers 6-3 Friday night.
D'Amigo, a 6th-Rd NHL draft choice by the Toronto Maple
Leafs in 2009, signed a 2010-11 entry level contract with the
Leafs and played 41 games for their AHL Toronto Marlies farm
club this season (5-G, 9-A & 23-PIM) before being assigned to OHL Kitchener this week.
D'Amigo had a goal and an assist in his Rangers debut Friday vs Plymouth.
The Whalers, who held a 2-0 lead early in the 2nd-Per, got goals from Stefan Noesen (#25),
Mitchell Heard (#15, unassisted) and James Livingston (#15, a PPG).
Livingston has four goals in his last three games, but suffered a minus-4 rating Friday.
Tyler Randell scored twice (#14 & #15) for Kitchener, his second into an empty net at 19:21/3.
Tobias Rieder (#17), Matthew Tipoff (#21, a PPG) and Zach Lorentz (#6) had the other Ranger lamp
lighters.
Kitchener netminder Mike Morrison made 26-SV and Whalers goalie Scott Wedgewood had 36.
After a 1-1 road trip, Plymouth hosts Sarnia Saturday for their third game in three nights.
