@ WINDSOR, ONT:

A three goal middle period carried the OHL Western Conference
leading Windsor Spitfires past the fourth place Plymouth Whalers
6-3 Thursday night.
The decision ended the Whaler four game winning streak.
Running second to Plymouth's Tyler Seguin in the OHL scoring race, Taylor Hall scored (#35) at
8:45/2 to snap a 1-all tie and give Windsor the lead for good.
Justin Shugg scored twice (#34 & #35, an ENG) for the Spitfires and Ryan Ellis had a goal (#10,
a PPG) plus three assists. Adam Henrique (#34) and Greg Nemisz (#34) also scored for Windsor.
Ryan Hayes (#15), Seguin (#46) and Garrett Meurs (#15) countered for Plymouth.
Former Windsor goaltender Matt Hackett made 46-SV in the Plymouth nets while Troy Passingham
only had to make 24 stops for the Spitfires.
