@ COMPUWARE ARENA:

Although outshot in each period and 43-27 for the game,
the Whalers got a pair of goals in each frame to defeat
Mississauga 6-2 Friday night.
OHL scoring leader Tyler Seguin had three goals (#40--#42)
and an assist to lead the Plymouth attack. It was Seguin's fifth
Hat Trick this season, but his first since DEC 2ND at home vs
Saginaw. Seguin has 8-P in his last two games on 5-G & 3-A with
4-P in each contest. Seguin now has 94-P on 42-G & 52-A on the
season, good for a six point margin over runner-up Taylor Hall
of the Windsor Spitfires.
Phil McRae had a goal (#16) and two assists. Also scoring
for Phymouth were A.J. Jenks (#21, a PPG) and James
Livingston (#16).
Both of the goals by the St. Michael's Majors were on the power play by Casey Cizikas (#24) and
David Corrente (#6).
Plymouth netminder Matt Hackett made 41-SV and St. Mike's goalie J.P. Anderson had 21-SV.
The Whalers won their second straight game. Plymouth is 3-3 in February with all the wins at
home and all the defeats on the road.
The Whalers conclude their three game homestand Saturday night in the first half of a home-
&-home set vs the Sarnia Sting.
