@ COMPUWARE ARENA:

Phil McRae scored (#14) 39-sec into overtime to give the Whalers a 2-1 home ice win
over Brampton Friday night.
Obtained earlier this month via trade with London, McRae has three goals and an assist
in his seven games with Plymouth. McRae's arrival at the OHL trading deadline has coincided
with the Whalers' longest winning streak of the season, now at six in a row.
The other Whalers goal came off the stick of OHL scoring leader Tyler Seguin (#36) at
19:11/2. Seguin has scored a goal in five consecutive contests and has 7-G & 7-A in that
span.
Stephon Thorne (#10) had the only Battalion tally, which tied the game at 7:22/3.
Back-up Scott Wedgewood got the start in net for Plymouth and made 22-SV. Patrick
Killeen made 29-SV for Brampton.
