THURSDAY NITE<<

@ WINDSOR, ONT:

Although the Spitfires outshot the Whalers in
all three periods and by a wide 49-16 margin in
the game, it wasn't until only 1:11 remained that
Windsor got the game-winner in a 4-2 comeback decision over Plymouth Thursday night.
Windsor scored four unanswered goals including three in the 3rd-Per to overcome
a 2-0 defecit.
Justin Shugg's tip-in (#10) of an Adam Henrique feed at 18:49/3 put the Spits
ahead for the first time all game. Henrique started the comeback with a power play
goal (#17) at 17:02/2. Henrique's second of the game (#18) was the empty net clincher
at 19:55/3. Taylor Hall (#21) also scored for the Spitfires at 2:59/3 to tie the contest
2-all.
Myles McCauley (#11) at 4:12/1 and Garrett Meurs (#6) at 16:01/2 had given
Plymouth its 2-Zip advantage.
Former Windsor netminder Matt Hackett continues to be hexed against his old
club, making 45-SV for Plymouth but still getting beaten by the 3rd-Per Spits bombing.
Windsor goaltender Troy Passingham had to make only 14-SV in getting his OHL-
leading 16th win of the season.
The Spitfires have won four in a row. The defeat snapped a two game Whaler
win streak.
