    The Cavaliers erased an 8-P/4th-Qtr
defecit to outscore the Pistons 32-14
in the final frame as Cleveland downed
Detroit 90-80 Sunday afternoon.
The loss gave the Pistons their first
4-game home court losing skid since 2001.
Overall, Detroit has dropped nine of its
last 12.
    LeBron James scored a game-high 33-P
and sealed the deal for the Cavs, but with
King James resting, Mo Williams & Daniel
Gibson took over to provide the game-winning rally.
Williams (8-P) and Gibson (7-P) personally directed a 15-2 Cleveland run for
a 73-68 Cavs lead with 7:28 to play. James then came back from the bench to
hit a driving layup, make an assist on a Zydrunas Ilgauskas 3-ball, then James
sank a 3-pointer and a free throw to give Cleveland an  8-P bulge at 84-76 with
2:33 remaining. A Williams runner gave Cleveland a 10-P margin at 86-76
with only 1:40 to go.
James also registered a game-high 8-A. Williams finished with 22-P and Ilgauskas
with 13-P. All of Gibson's 7-P came in the early 4th-Qtr burst.
Allen Iverson, who directed the Pistons to their 66-58/End-3rd lead, had a team-
high 22-P. Rip Hamilton scored 16-P off the bench. Tayshaun Prince had 11-P, Amir
Johnson 10-P and Rasheed Wallace 9-P. Johnson grabbed a game-high 9-RB.

PISTONS H-COACH MICHAEL CURRY:   "Regardless of who’s out on the court, to
get outscored at that point. I just thought through the first three quarters we
had done the job, done exactly what we wanted to do. And then we get into the
fourth and for whatever reason, we just made too many mistakes.”

PISTONS GD ALLEN IVERSON:   "Yes, absolutely, we had a couple of defensive
lapses in the first couple minutes (of the 4th-Qtr) and they took total advantage
of it, and we weren't able to recover from that point on...At the time when they
needed it the most that's when they got it done.”

CAVS GD MAURICE WILLIAMS:   "I thought in the third quarter we deferred too
much to LeBron (James), guys were passing up shots. So I said in the huddle that
guys just need to get aggressive and I think we did a good job of that. Gib (Daniel
Gibson) did a great job of coming out in the fourth quarter aggressive."

CAVS FWD LeBRON JAMES:   "Gib came out in the fourth and hit three straight
baskets and then Mo came and hit three straight baskets and those guys basically
took control of the game for us.”

Cleveland leads the NBA-Central at 37-9 while the Pistons are back-peddling
at 25-21.
Detroit ends its 3-game homestand by hosting Miami Wednesday night.
