Former Smackdown world champion Kurt Angle was introduced as new SmDn General Manager, replacing Paul Heyman, who had quit the night before after being drafted by Raw. Angle announced
two "deadline deal" trades:  Chuck Pulumbo & A-Train were shipped to Raw with SmDn receiving the
Rico & Miss Jacky duo. Also, in a 3-for-1, Booker T & the Dudley Boys were acquired by SmDn as
#3 SmDn "Lottery Draft Pick" Triple H was traded back to Raw.
    "SmackDown" TV tapings:   Rob Van Dam rolled-up Charlie Haas...Rene Dupree Rene-Drivered
Kidman...The Dudley Boys beat the Basham Brothers via a 3D finisher...Cwt champion Chavo
Guerrero Jr. defeated Spike Didley...SmDn world champion Eddy Guerrero DQ-defeated Booker T
off of Bradshaw's interference.
    "Velocity" tapings:   Billy Gunn & Hardcore Holly defeated Akio & Sakoda as Holly Alabama-
slammed Akio...Mark Jindrak squashed Tyson Dux...SmDn tag champions Rakishi & Scotty 2
Hotty defeated Nunzio & Johnny the Bull via Rakishi's Bonzai-drop on Strombolli.
    A "dark" match preceeding the tapings saw Rico pin Jamie Noble.
